KIM BARKER-CRAVEN
President
In 1991 Kim Barker-Craven founded Creative Services Group – a thriving communications firm offering strong marketing strategies, branding programs, and what has always been the key ingredient: outstanding graphic design.
Kim’s strengths lie in strategic positioning, messaging, branding, copywriting, conceptual development, corporate communications, presentation, team-building, and attaining a rich understanding of market perception to develop meaningful messaging.
With Creative Services Group she has created a stimulating collaborative setting where a handpicked team of exemplary professionals work together seamlessly to produce programs of depth and integrity -- providing clients with new insight and platforms where they can experience new growth.
She possesses in-depth knowledge of triple bottom line agendas, sustainability, corporate responsibility initiatives, current environmental issues and opportunities, certifications and governmental / corporate / NGO alliances. The goal of her firm’s “Be Seen As Green” initiative is to start a dialogue about how “green” translates to marketing, to provide green alternatives and to debunk the perception that ”going Green” is costly and challenging.
Prior to launching Creative Services Group, Kim was Vice President at Hughes Design servicing marquee clients such as PepsiCo, Pepperidge Farm, General Foods, Procter & Gamble and AT&T. She also worked at Tennis Magazine as Assistant Art Director.

Just for Fun:
Kim took up oil painting a few years ago, takes her camera everywhere, loves to arrange flowers, and has been known to rescue any stray animal. She currently has two pets: Harry, a lab, and Leon the cat. And yes, they are rescues!
She’s all green:
Kim sees the mainstream green movement as an exciting time in history, ripe with new ways of thinking and approaches to old problems, an opportunity for optimism and conversation.
